SENIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP OF HUNTINGTON CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
30 Hour Famine - The Video!
The mission of the Senior High Youth Group is to help young adults put their faith into action and to understand how faith correlates with everyday life. This is done by the group’s participation in our church-wide functions, community service activities, biweekly meetings, and group recreational activities.
Membership is open to all high school students, whether or not they are members of HCC. All members are encouraged to bring a friend(s) to join the group for any meetings or activities. The group meets the first and third Sunday of the month from September through June at 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A light supper is served at the meetings.
The meetings open with a prayer, any upcoming events/service projects are planned, and a lesson is delivered through a video or questions and scenarios. An adult leader directs the discussions of the curriculum, which deals with many teen issues and social responsibilities. The group also enjoys playing video games, card and board games, and simply… the fellowship.
